Another CentOS Terraria question :D
« on: July 17, 2012, 03:13:18 PM »
;D Hello again forum members! How do I (if possible) get the characters that access my server to be saved remoted on the server rather than locally? If that's not possible - is it possible to permit only items /harvested/crafted on the server to be accessed when on the server? I am having a problem with players leaving the server back to their own, just to spawn items and come back. I'm not totally against that, but it's setting an unfair advantage.

Server side inventory isn't possible, but keeping a list of inventory items on the server for each character and comparing them on reconnect is, and Login was a plugin that did it. Unfortunately that plugin hasn't been updated for a long time.

Another option might be the inventory plugin in Pozzuh's Plugin Pack.
Server Machine: Xubuntu 11.10 Xfce Mono 2.10.5
Thanks to all those who work on TDSM. It's a great alternative to the official one. And thanks to the plugin devs too for making it even better.
