I just set the prefix to >. It's not gone, but it don't look bad.
Server Machine: Xubuntu 11.10 Xfce Mono 2.10.5
Thanks to all those who work on TDSM. It's a great alternative to the official one. And thanks to the plugin devs too for making it even better.

Well, I think there should be an option to have it prefixless by default. Atm, I've set it to dot.

Hello. Any way, how to make prefixes "none" as default? So people will see only nick: text, instead of prefix nick: text, when connected first time?

He did add it xD just need to read the posts:

A wild Update appeared!
The Prodigy used Release!
It's super effective!

B31v2:
-Added the ability to remove the prefix of a certain user. (/chatprefix name none)

Now all I need is an update for build #36

This is also currently not working with the new build, and semi-obsolete, thanks to the chat support in Permissions.

Maybe, but until in-game commands are implemented I would have to edit the permissions file, and restart the server for it to reload, where as with this, I can do it in game. When they do get implemented, permissions would be better.

You shouldn't have to restart.  Have you tried a /reload or /plugin reload TDSMPermissions (I think that's how you do the second one)?

I don't think I will be continuing CustomChat. The TDSMpermissions plugin has everything my plugin has and more.

/reload just reloads the server.properties, but I will try /plugin reload.

I thought so, thanks for all the work on it anyway.

TDSMPermissions won't always be difficult to use since in-game commands will be implemented. Check back at the release of the next TDSM build at the latest, they will probably be in by then. Maybe sooner.
